Timeless Wedding Video Editor Needed
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
Job Overview: I am a wedding videographer based in Bristol, UK. I am looking for a talented, detail-oriented Video Editor to partner with me on a "per-gig" basis, with the goal of moving to a permanent, full-time position as my business grows in 2026.
I am looking for someone who doesn't just "cut footage," but tells a story. My brand style is Contemporary & Clean with a Classic Sensibility. I want films that look stylish today but will still look beautiful and "timeless" 20 years from now.
Compensation:
£200 – £400 per wedding (depending on the complexity and length of the edit).
Payment made promptly upon project completion.
Trial Period: The first project will be a paid test of a 2-minute highlight film.
The Creative Style:
Clean & Elegant: No "cheesy" transitions or overly aggressive trendy effects.
Story-Driven: You must be able to listen to speeches and vows to find the "heart" of the story.
Timeless Color: Natural skin tones and classic cinematic grading (not overly "orange and teal").
Technical Requirements:
Software: Expert in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
Footage: Experience working with Sony 8-bit HLG3 or S-Log footage.
Workflow: Must be comfortable working with proxies and delivering project files back to the UK for final export.
Audio: High attention to detail for audio syncing, dialogue cleaning, and sound design (ambient sounds/SFX).
Communication: Strong English skills (written and spoken) to understand UK accents in speeches and follow creative briefs.
