Video Editor Project Brief

Project Context:

Our school is participating in an exhibition.

Seven of my students have created a project, and I want a professional video showcasing their journey.

Source Material:

I will provide you with photos and short clips from different stages.

Each stage will be organized in separate folders/sequences (Project Start, School Level, Regional Level, Results, etc.).

Video Storyline (Flow):

Introduction:

Display the students’ names and the project title (with text animation).

Project Making Stage:

Photos/videos of students while they were building the project.

School Level Exhibition:

Shots from inside and outside the school.

Students presenting their project.

Journey to Regional:

Candid shots of students traveling in the car.

Regional Competition:

Shots of students presenting at the regional venue.

Results Announcement:

Photos/videos of the result declaration.

Post Result & Celebration:

Candid happy moments of the students celebrating.

Editing Style Expectations:

Smooth transitions (cross dissolve, pan/zoom on photos, etc.).

Background music (motivational + emotional tone).

On-screen text for key moments (e.g., “School Level”, “Regional Presentation”).

School name/logo at the beginning and end of the video.

Closing “Thank You” slide with credits.

Video Specifications:

Length: 2–3 minutes.
