Story-Driven YouTube Video Editing

I produce short-form stories (8 mins on an average) for my YouTube channel, each one built around a real but little-known incident. I need a seasoned editor who can turn these narratives into polished, cinematic videos that hook viewers from the first frame.
Here’s what makes the job unique:
• Every episode must feel clean and professional yet visually rich. Expect to blend subtle enhancements with punchier moments—think a tasteful mix of color grading, light leaks, and motion graphics rather than constant spectacle.
• Key facts, headlines, articles etc. have to be collected and transformed into stylized, dynamic overlays.
• Background music must carry a cinematic, dramatic tone, swelling with the tension of the story without overpowering the voice-over. Smooth audio transitions and well-timed sound design are essential.
• When appropriate, layer in AI generated images & clips, animations, parallax effects on still images, map or timeline reveals, relevant elements —anything that keeps the pacing tight and the visuals engaging while staying on-brand.
Typical workflow: I deliver the raw footage along with scripts. You collect the facts, news headlines, articles etc. related to the topic and shape the narrative in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or your preferred pro-grade tool, then return a ready-to-publish 4k export.
Acceptance criteria:
1. Final cut runs to the appropriate length, contains no dead air, and maintains narrative momentum.
2. All factual graphics match the references verbatim.
3. Music and effects are properly licensed or sourced from royalty-free libraries.
