YC Startup Video Editor Needed
Budget: $5,000 – $10,000 USD
We’re a Y-Combinator-backed SaaS company preparing our public launch, and we need an editor who can turn raw footage and product demos into engaging, educational videos. Think Claude-style explainers or the longer narrative pieces in the two samples below:

Scope & cadence
• Initial batch: 2–3 long-form videos (10–15 min each) plus 4–6 short clips (60–120 sec) that repurpose the same material for social channels.
• Ongoing: feature-update shorts released every few weeks—roughly a quarterly budget of $5-10 k is already set aside.
Creative expectations
• Clear, concise storytelling focused on Product Education.
• Modern pacing, tasteful motion graphics, crisp captions, and subtle sound design.
• Tool-agnostic, but familiarity with Premiere Pro, Final Cut, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve will help you move fast.
Timeline
Rough cuts for the first long-form piece are needed within a month, with shorts following closely after.
