Social media Video Editing Internship

Job ID: 40106070

Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR

I’m opening a three-month, hands-on internship for an emerging video editor who wants real, day-to-day newsroom-style experience inside a busy media company. Throughout the placement you’ll be shaping short-form and medium-length documentaries that focus on powerful human-interest stories—ordinary people in extraordinary circumstances—so a sensitive narrative touch is essential.

You will sit in on story meetings, receive raw multi-camera footage, and own the full post-production flow: ingest, rough cut, fine cut, colour, basic motion graphics, audio sweetening, final export and delivery for broadcast and online platforms. We work primarily in Adobe Premiere Pro with occasional colour passes in DaVinci Resolve, so proficiency in at least Premiere is required from day one.

To apply, please send links to past work that best demonstrates your documentary editing skills; I’m especially interested in projects where you have crafted character-driven arcs or layered interviews with b-roll to keep viewers engaged. No lengthy proposal needed—your previous cuts will speak louder.

Over the three months you’ll create multiple finished pieces under tight deadlines, receive direct feedback from senior editors and producers, and leave with broadcast credits you can showcase. If you’re ready to immerse yourself in real production schedules and polish stories that matter, I’d love to review your reel.
