Social Media Wedding Highlight Editing

I film dozens of weddings each season and I’m falling behind on turning the raw iPhone clips and photos into punchy highlight reels that couples can proudly post. I’m looking for an editor who can take the assorted vertical footage I shoot on-site and craft short, scroll-stopping reels tailored for Instagram and TikTok.
Here’s what you’ll be working with
• Source: iPhone video files (mixed resolution) plus still-photo bursts
• Length: usually 30–90 seconds per reel
• Orientation: vertical first, with the option to crop for square if needed
What I expect from each reel
• A polished narrative that can swing between romantic & emotional, fun & energetic, or classic & elegant depending on the couple’s vibe—sometimes all three in different drafts
• Clean cuts, gentle color correction that keeps skin tones natural, and tasteful text overlays when the story calls for it
• Licensed, trend-appropriate music beds that won’t trigger takedowns on IG or TikTok
• Delivery in ready-to-upload MP4 (H.264) plus an edit-friendly project file in Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci—whatever you prefer
Turnaround is typically a week after I hand off the footage, but faster deliveries are always appreciated.
