Social Media Video Editor in gurgaon

Job ID: 40399373

Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR

I create short-form campaigns for several lifestyle brands headquartered in Gurgaon and now need a full-time editor who can live and breathe social media. The raw clips, shot in-house, must be turned into attention-grabbing Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts with a quick turnaround. Think snappy cuts, kinetic text, sound-synced transitions, and the sort of punchy motion graphics that keep viewers watching past the first three seconds—fast-paced with effects is exactly the style I’m after.

Day to day you’ll receive a folder of 4-6 clips (30-90 seconds each). Your job is to:

• Select the strongest moments, tighten pacing, and add rhythmic jump cuts
• Layer trending music, SFX, and captions that meet IG and YouTube guidelines
• Incorporate simple motion graphics, emojis, or stickers when they boost engagement
• Export platform-specific versions (9:16 for Reels, 16:9 or 1:1 for YouTube as needed) while keeping bitrate and size optimized

We shoot on Sony mirrorless cameras; color profiles are S-Log3, so basic color correction and tasteful grading are part of the workflow. I’m currently working in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, so staying within that ecosystem will make hand-offs smoother.

The role is on-site in Gurgaon Monday to Friday because you’ll often collaborate directly with our creative team, test cuts on studio monitors, and pull fresh B-roll from the in-house server. High-speed internet and a calibrated editing suite are provided; just bring your skills and creative energy.

To help me gauge fit, please share:

• Three links to Instagram or YouTube shorts you’ve edited that showcase fast-paced, effect-driven work
• A quick note on your favorite plug-ins or built-in Premiere effects for dynamic text and transitions
• Your earliest start date for a full-time arrangement

Once we agree on style, I’ll map weekly deliverables and lock in milestones so you’re paid as each batch goes live. Looking forward to seeing how you can turn raw footage into scroll-stopping content.
