Video Editor Wanted – Short Form Content (Reels & YouTube Shorts)
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Video Editor who can create engaging, fast-paced, and high-retention short-form content.
Our content focuses on law, current affairs, and educational storytelling, presented in an entertaining and easy-to-understand style. We need someone who understands modern editing trends and knows how to keep viewers hooked from the first second to the last.
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience editing YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and other short-form videos
Excellent storytelling and pacing skills
Strong understanding of audience retention and hook-based editing
Ability to use motion graphics, captions, sound effects, transitions, zooms, and B-roll effectively
Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar professional editing software
Ability to deliver high-quality edits within deadlines
Creative mindset with attention to detail
Preferred Skills:
Experience editing educational or commentary content
Knowledge of current social media trends and viral editing styles
Ability to suggest creative improvements rather than simply following instructions
Good communication skills and willingness to accept feedback
Responsibilities:
Edit high-quality short-form videos with a premium feel
Add engaging subtitles, animations, sound design, and visual effects
Source relevant stock footage, memes, graphics, and B-roll where needed
Maintain consistency in the channel's editing style and branding
Deliver projects on time while maintaining quality
