Short Form Video Editing & Recording | Game Server Community
Budget: $8 – $15 AUD
I’m looking for a video editor to capture in-game footage from our Minecraft server and turn it into short-form videos, with an output of 3 videos per week over a time period that's comfortable with you, the editor.
Your role as a video editor will be both to record and capture in-game footage and to edit that content into short-form video formats.
The server is anarchy-like (Meaning no rules bar for some chat filters & anti-exploit measures), meaning that player bases are very sought after. You will need to be aware of this as you record and edit as to not expose player details that could get them raided.
At this time, there are two formats that we primarily focus on:
• “Day X on my server” – quick daily-style recaps that highlight fresh builds, player/server progress, and any new plugins or tweaks I’ve pushed.
• “Interesting things I found on my server” – spotlights on player-created structures or other oddities found in the server.
Video assets and pre-requisites, such as subtitles, transitions, effects, project files, and the appropriate Minecraft tools to help capture & record, are already configured within Premiere Pro. We have already published videos that may help you better understand the formatting, styling, and pacing of the videos.
Premiere Pro is preferred as all assets are from Premiere Pro, but any other editing software is welcome as long as styling and formatting is consistent to what has already been established.
As well, while this project is solely focused on Minecraft, we do operate other game servers outside of Minecraft. Should it be of interest, roles into these servers can be looked into.
