I'm seeking an experienced video editor to join our team and lead the editing process for educational content on YouTube. The role involves transforming raw footage into polished, engaging videos that maintain brand consistency and deliver strong visual storytelling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit and assemble raw footage into engaging videos tailored for YouTube.
- Ensure brand consistency and compelling storytelling across all content.
- Provide creative input to enhance video structure, pacing, and engagement.
- Lead and mentor junior editors and freelancers.
- Oversee multiple editing projects, ensuring deadlines are met while managing workflow, file organization, and version control.
- Stay updated with the latest editing software, specifically Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Learn from previous feedback and edits provided by Tony, applying those lessons to future videos.
- Work with video formats, codecs, and compression techniques to optimize quality and performance.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in video editing, particularly for YouTube.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Ability to produce fast-paced videos with lots of cuts.
- Excellent leadership and mentoring skills.
- Strong organizational skills for managing multiple projects.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to incorporate feedback effectively and consistently.
