We produce premium photography courses, live training sessions, social media content, and in-person event recaps that inspire photographers at every level. We're looking for a senior-level video editor who can bring storytelling, polish, and consistency to our brand—someone who understands educational pacing, cinematic visuals, and the emotional impact of our community-focused content.
Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Video Editor who can take raw footage and turn it into engaging, polished final products across multiple formats:
Course lessons
Short-form social media reels (FB, IG, TikTok, YT Shorts)
Training videos
Recap videos from live events, workshops, and conferences
This role requires speed, creativity, technical excellence, and the ability to maintain brand consistency across all content.
Responsibilities
Core Editing Responsibilities
Edit long-form educational course videos with clarity, pacing, clean transitions, and premium polish.
Produce short-form vertical reels that follow trends while staying on brand.
Edit multi-camera training sessions, screen recordings, and instructor-led tutorials.
Create emotional and high-impact recap videos from in-person events (cruises, workshops, huddles).
Add lower-thirds, transitions, graphics, sound design, and subtle color grading to maintain TPM’s brand identity.
Creative & Technical Execution
Build compelling visual narratives from raw footage.
Ensure consistent audio quality, color balance, and file organization across all projects.
Keep courses clean, minimal, and educational — free from fluff or distractions.
Collaborate with TPM mentors, producers, and designers to maintain continuity and clarity.
Project Management
Manage multiple deadlines each week with minimal supervision.
Maintain clean project files following TPM naming conventions and folder structures.
Quickly turn around both long-form and short-form edits.
Work proactively by reading notes, asking clarifying questions, and anticipating needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Senior-level editing experience (5+ years preferred)
Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
Strong understanding of storytelling, rhythm, pacing, and educational editing
Experience editing long-form course content
Experience editing short-form social video content
Strong color correction and sound mixing skills
Ability to work independently and communicate professionally
Excellent organization and attention to detail
Must be US-based
Preferred (but not required)
After Effects skills for light motion graphics
Experience with photography-focused content
Familiarity with online education or membership-based platforms
Ability to source music and maintain brand tone
Understanding of TPM's visual style and student community

Editing a 90 minute photography course
Cutting down instructor training videos for short-form promos
Producing 10 reels per month from existing training or event footage
Creating a hype recap video for a TPM In-Person events
