Scroll-Synced Split-Screen Videos
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I’m producing a series of 6–10-minute YouTube videos that show a permanent split screen: on the left, one high-resolution stock image that represents the topic; on the right, the full narration text scrolling in a smooth, continuous flow perfectly timed to the voice-over.
Here’s what I already have for each video:
• The final voice-over track (WAV/MP3)
• The exact script that must appear on screen
• A curated, rights-cleared stock photo for the hero image
What I need from you is the editing magic that brings these elements together. Using the video software you’re most comfortable with—Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar—create a clean 1920×1080 file where:
1. The hero image sits locked on the left throughout.
2. The script scrolls smoothly on the right, staying perfectly in sync with the spoken words.
3. Text is clear, readable on desktop and mobile, and free of typos.
4. Audio is aligned and levels are even.
Please export the finished video as an H.264 MP4 and also send me the project file so I can reuse the template for future episodes. If you have ideas for subtle background colour tweaks, gentle zoom on the photo, or other enhancements that won’t distract from the narration, feel free to suggest them.
The first milestone will be one sample video; once that timing looks perfect, we’ll roll the same setup across the rest of the series. Looking forward to seeing how precisely you can sync the scroll to the read-through!
