i am looking for a reliable freelance video editor to handle my videos on a regular basis (ideally 1–4 videos per month to start).
What the job involves:
Editing raw footage (talking head + B-roll/stock footage) into engaging YouTube videos
Video length: usually 8–15 minutes (sometimes Shorts too)
Style: [describe your style, e.g., fast-paced with lots of cuts, cinematic with color grading, humorous with memes/text overlays, educational with smooth transitions and graphics]
Adding: intros/outros, lower thirds, captions/subtitles, sound effects, royalty-free music, basic motion graphics if needed
Optimizing for YouTube (thumbnails sometimes, end screens, cards)
Delivering in 1080p or 4K, ready for upload
Requirements / Must-haves:
Proven experience editing for YouTube channels (please share 2–3 recent YouTube video links you've edited)
Proficient in [software you prefer/require, e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut – mention if you're flexible]
Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and YouTube algorithm-friendly editing (retention hooks, jump cuts, etc.)
Good English communication (for feedback and revisions)
