(RPE) YouTube Documentary Editors Wanted

Job ID: 40199492

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I run a fast-growing channel that produces long-form internet documentaries in the style of this sample video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=jld3LLODQvQ. To keep up with our release schedule I’m expanding the post-production team and will onboard five editors who can take raw voiceover tracks and footage and turn them into engaging 12–17-minute stories every week.

Here’s how we’ll work together
• Consistent output: you’ll receive at least one episode per week (never more than three).
• Clear compensation: payment is tied directly to the finished voiceover length—up to US$5 per minute. A typical 15-minute piece therefore pays about $75.
• Collaborative refining: during the first few projects my managers and I will give detailed notes so your cuts quickly match our pacing, meme inserts, zoom-ins, lower thirds, and sound-design style. Once you’ve nailed it, you’ll edit with much more autonomy and may be invited to work on my other channels as well.

Your background in documentary editing is exactly what I’m after; if you’re comfortable jumping between Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve, that’s perfect—the choice of NLE is up to you as long as you can deliver a polished 1080p (or higher) master, synced project file, and any custom graphics you create.

If you can weave narration, b-roll, motion titles, and punchy jump-cuts into a coherent narrative week in and week out, send over your best sample that mirrors the tone of the linked video and let’s talk.
