Professional YouTube Video Editor Needed
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I'm Emmett Glasbrenner, a licensed therapist, veteran, and creator behind Emmett Speaks on YouTube. My channel focuses on nervous system science for immigrants and veterans — people who look "fine" but feel stuck, exhausted, or hypervigilant. The content is serious, clinical-adjacent, and identity-driven. I'm looking for a dedicated editor for an ongoing monthly contract. Here's exactly what the role looks like: Deliverables (monthly)
8 long-form videos (5–12 minutes each)
What I provide
A full script for every video, which includes all editing direction (cuts, B-roll cues, text overlays, pacing notes)
My Editing Bible — a standardized guide covering visual retention rules, caption style, and brand standards
Timeline
I post weekly. You will have up to 3 days per video from the time you receive the raw footage, regardless of video length.
Contract & Pay
Monthly contract, paid in full at the start of each month.
Please include your monthly rate for the full deliverable scope when you reply. I want to confirm that we're aligned before we move forward.
Paid Trial Project
I have a video ready to go as a paid trial edit. This trial is how we'll confirm the fit before committing to the monthly contract. Please include your rate for a single trial edit as well.
I need someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and can follow a structured brief without a lot of back-and-forth. The content carries real weight for the people watching it—the editing needs to match that. If this role sounds like a fit, please reply with:
Your portfolio (ideally with long-form and short-form samples)
Any experience in health, mental health, or education content
Your monthly rate and your trial edit rate
Looking forward to hearing from you.

- Strong eye for color correction and graphic integration
- Experience with YouTube content and formatting
Looking forward to your expertise!
