Political Documentary YouTube Editor
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I’m producing a politically themed documentary series for YouTube and need an editor who can shape the narrative in a style similar to Dhruv Rathee or Nitish Rajput—clear commentary seamlessly interwoven with strong supporting visuals. The finished piece should feel like a balanced dialogue between my voice-over explanations and the images on screen rather than a rapid-fire montage.
Here’s the raw material you will have to work with:
• Interviews and speeches
• Stock footage and images I have licensed
• Several on-site recordings from recent events
Your task is to turn that mix into a cohesive story: trimming, ordering, adding lower thirds, simple motion graphics or infographics where they strengthen a point, colour-grading for consistency and pacing it so that neither the talk nor the visuals overpower each other. I normally script to the 12- to 15-minute mark, so expect timelines of similar length.
I edit rough voice-over takes in Adobe Audition; you are free to work in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or another NLE as long as you deliver a clean 1080p master plus all project files so I can swap in the final-recorded VO before publishing. Accuracy in subtitles and on-screen statistics is important—I’ll supply fact sheets, but I count on you to double-check against the visuals.
