Podcast Video Editing & Social Clips
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I run an interview-style podcast and need a reliable video editor who can take each raw episode and turn it into a polished YouTube video plus a set of short, eye-catching clips for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok.
Here’s what I’m after:
• Edit the full episode (typically 20- 35min): clean cuts, remove dead air, sync any multi-cam angles, balance audio, add my branded intro/outro, and apply light colour correction so everything feels consistent.
• From that master, create multiple vertical clips (15-30 sec each). These should highlight key moments, include burned-in captions, a punchy hook at the start, and subtle on-brand graphics or emojis to keep viewers engaged.
• Deliver the long-form video in 16:9 (1080p) and the shorts in 9:16 (1080×1920). File naming and aspect ratios need to be social-ready so I can post without extra tweaks.
• Use Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, or another professional NLE you’re fluent in—whatever maintains top quality.
• Two quick revision rounds on each episode/clips bundle to fine-tune timing, captions, or graphics.
I release new episodes roughly once a week, so I’m looking to build an ongoing relationship with an editor who can confidently meet a 3- to 4-day turnaround per episode package.
