Personal Assistant with Video Editing Skills
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
This position is listed under “video editing,” and "personal assistant" but we are looking for something very specific.
We are hiring for a short-term contract to assist with editing short videos for social media and web content. The project involves tasks such as adding a beginning sequence, an end sequence (e.g. the "Jeopardy" TV show or Larry King Live), trimming clips, adding subtitles, improving audio, transitions, and inserting background music or stock visuals where needed.
We are specifically looking for someone with at least 1.5 years of experience in video editing, using tools like iMovie, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent.
If your experience is limited to tools like Canva or PowerPoint animations, please do not apply to this post. (We may have a separate project better suited for that skillset in the near future.)
We pay ₹3,000 per week, with payments made on a weekly basis to make things easier for freelancers (no long waits for your payment).

Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience with video editing software such as iMovie, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
- Ability to create engaging social media content
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

We don't usually work over the weekend and we also don't expect the freelancers to. We will review bids and get back to you when we get back to work on Monday. We just want to dip in and post the job itself.

We have a set of six to ten videos. It is part of a Talk Series.
You need to do workitems like:
- adding an Intro (with music)
- adding an Outro (with music)
- blocking out one participant from Time Instant X to Time Instant Y and replacing their face with a logo
- Snipping the video in certain places since the participants did not realize they wqere on camera.
Basically:
- Intro or Opening Sequence – the branded beginning of a video, often with music, logo, or theme (e.g., Jeopardy’s iconic theme and logo reveal).
- Outro or Closing Sequence – the wrap-up at the end, sometimes with credits, a fade-out, or music.
You need to take the raw footage and turn it into something we can put on Youtube. We wil give you the raw footage on Dropbox or Google Drive.
