Netflix-Style Birthday Documentary Edit
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
I have a pile of raw footage from my recent birthday bash and I want it reshaped into a light-hearted, binge-worthy mini-doc that could sit comfortably alongside your favorite Netflix feel-good specials. The clips include casual interviews my friends shot, plenty of candid moments, and lots of atmosphere I don’t want lost in a basic montage.
Here’s the story arc I’m after: open with the most engaging guest sound bites, weave them together with a playful voice-over that I’ll record once you guide me on timing, and keep everything moving with background music that lifts the energy without drowning anyone out. No single scene is mandatory; instead, I’d like you to spot the gems—surprise jokes, spontaneous dance-offs, whatever makes viewers smile—and use those to drive the narrative.
Polished pacing, color correction, tasteful motion graphics for lower thirds, and smooth audio mixing are essential. Feel free to work in Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve as long as you deliver a final 1080p (or better) master plus any project files so I can archive them.
At hand-off I’ll need:
• The finished documentary, ready to stream or share.
• A separate clean version of the voice-over track synced to picture.
• All royalty-free music licenses or links you used.
If you can capture the fun of the night, keep viewers grinning, and still give it that polished “next-episode-auto-play” vibe, we’re a match.
