Movies & Shorts Video Editing
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I’m producing “movies explained” videos alongside fast-paced Shorts for both YouTube and TikTok and need a single editor who can polish everything—from the long-form breakdown to the bite-size vertical clips and the thumbnail that sells the click.
Here’s what the workflow looks like:
• One 8–12 minute, professionally-clean movie-explanation video
• Three to five 15–60 second vertical edits pulled from that same footage
• One eye-catching 1280×720 thumbnail
Style must stay sharp, cinematic and uncluttered: colour-graded footage, balanced audio, tasteful lower-thirds, crisp subtitles, no gimmicky jump cuts unless they serve the story. Deliver both 16:9 and 9:16 versions in 1080p H.264, with hard-coded captions on the vertical files. All content will be published on YouTube and TikTok.
My ceiling is roughly 400 per movie package, so I value editors who work efficiently with templates, royalty-free assets and a streamlined revision process.
Acceptance criteria
• MP4 exports plus the editable project file (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut)
• Audio peaks below –1 dB, dialogue around –14 LUFS
• Thumbnail JPG under 2 MB
• Turnaround: 3 days after receiving raw material
