We are looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor who understands YouTube content and knows how to craft videos that hold attention, tell compelling stories, and maximize viewer retention.
Responsibilities:
Edit raw footage into polished, engaging, and professional YouTube videos.
Add motion graphics, captions, effects, and transitions to enhance storytelling.
Sync music, sound effects, and voiceovers for maximum impact.
Collaborate with the content/creative team to align with the channel’s style, branding, and strategy.
Optimize videos for YouTube (hooks, pacing, retention, audience engagement).
Deliver videos on schedule and be open to feedback/revisions.
Stay up to date with YouTube trends, editing styles, and algorithm-driven best practices.

Requirements:
Proven experience as a YouTube Video Editor (portfolio or channel samples required).
Proficiency with editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
Strong storytelling, pacing, and attention to detail.
Knowledge of YouTube formatting (aspect ratios, thumbnails, metadata, retention strategies).
Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
Creativity, consistency, and passion for digital content.
Nice to Have:
Motion graphics/animation experience.
Basic knowledge of SEO, YouTube analytics, and growth strategies.
Experience editing for different niches (vlogs, tutorials, commentary, entertainment, shorts, etc.).
