I have raw footage from our upcoming company Christmas party and I want to transform it into a festive, 3-minute highlight video that doubles as an ad for next year’s event. The finished piece should feel joyful and energetic, weaving together candid moments, speeches, crowd reactions, décor details, and a few branded lower-thirds so viewers instantly sense the holiday cheer and the spirit of our team.
You’ll have creative freedom on pacing, transitions, and music selection (royalty-free only), as long as the end result plays smoothly in social feeds and looks polished on a large screen during our January recap meeting. Color correction, basic motion graphics for titles, and subtle sound design are expected. Premiere Pro or Final Cut are both fine—whatever you work fastest in—just be sure to supply the final 1080p MP4 along with the editable project file.
I’ll shortlist editors who briefly outline similar event reels they’ve cut and describe the techniques you used to keep things lively. If you can speak to experience balancing multiple camera angles, low-light shots, and syncing candid audio with a music bed, that will help me see we’re on the same wavelength.
