Minimalist Instagram & YouTube Editor
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I shoot regular vlogs and personal-story pieces for both Instagram (Reels and Stories) and YouTube, but I need a fresh set of eyes to turn the raw footage into polished, minimalistic edits that flow naturally from scene to scene. The look I’m after is clean and modern—smooth transitions rather than quick-fire cuts, subtle motion graphics instead of flashy effects, and a pacing that keeps viewers engaged without ever feeling hectic.
Here’s what each finished video needs to include:
• Background music that is royalty-free and fits the mood of the story
• Simple text overlays to highlight key moments, titles, or calls to action
• Voiceovers mixed cleanly with the on-camera audio
Typical workflow: I’ll upload all clips, B-roll, and audio to a shared Google Drive folder. You sequence the story, trim the fat, balance colours, fix audio, add the music and graphics, then deliver two aspect ratios—16:9 for YouTube and 9:16 for Instagram—exported in high-quality H.264. Source files (Premiere Pro or Final Cut project) come with the final exports so I can make tweaks later if needed.
Turnaround for each project is usually three to four days, though I’m flexible when a video needs extra polish. If this streamlined, story-first editing style sounds like your wheelhouse, let’s get rolling.
