Long-Term Video Editor for YouTube Content

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated, long-term video editor to edit 30 videos per month, each around 30 minutes long. You will receive the script and detailed scene breakdowns from us, so your main responsibility will be to bring the content to life with smooth editing, visuals, and engaging storytelling.
Our channels focus on history, devotional, and AI/productivity content, so we want an editor who can make longer videos captivating and binge-worthy.
Responsibilities:
• Edit 30 videos per month (each ~30 minutes).
• Use the provided script + scene details to structure the video.
• Add stock footage, background music, voice sync, and transitions.
• Enhance with motion graphics, titles, captions (where required).
• Ensure smooth pacing and high viewer retention for long-form YouTube content.
• Deliver consistent quality on a monthly schedule.
Requirements:
• Proven experience editing long-form YouTube videos (please share samples).
• Skilled in Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro / DaVinci Resolve.
• Ability to source relevant stock footage, images, and background music.
• Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and YouTube retention tactics.
• Must be reliable and able to meet deadlines for bulk monthly work.
Preferred (not mandatory):
• Experience editing documentary-style / educational content.
• Knowledge of YouTube optimization techniques (viewer retention, pacing, hooks).
• Ability to add engaging transitions, graphics, and visual storytelling elements.
