Japanese Shorts Video Editor — Lyrics Sync (Adobe Premiere | Long-term)
Job Description
I run a Japanese-language viral Shorts channel. Here is a reference video showing the exact style I want to create — in Spanish, but the editing style is identical to what I need in Japanese:

For each video, I will provide:
• Source video clip(s)
• MP3 — Japanese vocal music
• SRT subtitle file
• Text instruction file (which clip, which timestamp — omitted when obvious)
Your job is to sync the audio, lyrics, and visuals together — matching the style of the reference video. A detailed work order will be provided upon hiring.
Requirements
• Adobe Premiere Pro — proficient (mandatory, no other editors)
• Basic Japanese reading ability (hiragana / katakana / kanji) — advanced level not required. You just need to read the lyrics and match them to what you hear in the audio
• Experience in editing viral Shorts or TikTok videos is a big plus (Preferred)
• High proficiency in Japanese is a plus (Preferred)
• All assets are provided and guidelines are clear — proficient editors will find this straightforward and efficient work
• Reliable daily delivery within 24 hours of receiving assets
Pay & Volume
• $2 per video (source clips fewer than 5)
• $3 per video (source clips 5 or more)
• Payment is processed weekly in bundled milestones
• Guaranteed volume: 3 videos/day to start → up to 5/day as trust builds
• Long-term contract for reliable editors — volume will increase over time
Hiring Process
1. Review of the portfolio link you provide (No link = immediate rejection)
2. If approved → 1 paid test run with 2 videos (A $5 milestone will be created for the test)
3. If passed → 5-day evaluation period
4. If passed → regular daily workflow begins
