Investigative News Story Video Editor
Budget: ₹100 – ₹400 INR
I have already collected the on-camera interviews, sourced the relevant archival clips, and prepared a set of graphics and charts that explain the data behind this investigative report. Now I need a versatile video editor to weave all of those elements into a cohesive news package that feels authoritative and keeps viewers engaged from the opening tease to the closing stand-up.
The raw material, script outline, and time-coded notes are ready for hand-off. Your role is to:
• Trim and sequence the interview sound-bites so the narrative flows logically
• Blend in the archival footage, matching colour and audio levels for a seamless look
• Drop in the prepared graphics/charts at the exact cue points, adding simple motion if it helps clarity
• Apply lower-third identifiers, news-style transitions, and light sound design that supports the story without overpowering it
• Deliver a clean master file (ProRes or similar) plus a web-ready H.264 export with hard-coded captions
Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve—all fine with me as long as you keep project files organised for future revisions. Please share links to a couple of investigative or documentary edits you have completed, along with your estimated turnaround. If you can begin this week, let’s talk details right away.
