My priority is smooth transitions between shots rather than rapid-fire cuts, so techniques like cross-dissolves, match-cuts, whip-pans or creative mask reveals will be appreciated as long as everything feels fluid.
Here’s the flow I’m after: tidy up the footage (trim dead space, stabilize shaky moments, balance exposure and colour), weave the clips together with those smooth transitions, layer in background music I’ll provide (or suggest royalty-free tracks that match the vibe), adjust audio levels so any dialogue remains clear, and export in 9:16 at full-HD or higher. Light on-screen text or minimal captions are welcome if they serve the story, but heavy graphic overlays aren’t required.
