I have a personal-story documentary that needs to feel genuinely inspirational from start to finish. I will supply the interview footage, supporting b-roll, and any available photos; what I need from you is a carefully paced edit that brings the narrative to life.
Scope of work
• Shape the raw material into a clear story arc—opening hook, rising tension, and uplifting resolution.
• Edit dialogue for clarity and flow, balancing interview sound with ambient audio and music beds.
• Add tasteful lower-thirds, name keys, and subtle motion graphics where they strengthen the story.
• Perform colour correction and basic colour grading so every shot sits naturally together.
• Source or integrate royalty-free inspirational music and light sound design to heighten emotional beats.
• Provide one rough cut for feedback, a refined cut with revisions applied, and a polished final export in both 4K and 1080p H.264.
A video for an idea for company, it needs to be 2 - 3 minutes
Ideal collaborator
You’re comfortable with Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, have a portfolio of documentary or biography work, and know how to keep viewers engaged without over-editing.
Timeline is flexible enough for thoughtful crafting, yet I’d like to see the first rough cut within two weeks of project start. Let’s create a documentary that leaves the audience moved and motivated.
