Inspirational Documentary Editor Needed

Job ID: 40040800

Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR

I have hours of raw material that span interviews, B-roll and a handful of archival clips, all centred on a personal journey I have been filming for the past year. The goal is to weave these disparate pieces into an inspirational, story-driven documentary that keeps viewers emotionally invested from the first frame to the last.

The work involves shaping a clear narrative arc, balancing voice-over with the on-camera interviews, and using cutaways, motion graphics and tasteful sound design to heighten key moments without overwhelming them. Colour correction, audio sweetening and subtle titling should bring a polished, broadcast-ready feel yet still preserve the authenticity of the footage.

Deliverables
• A final master edit (4K ProRes or high-bitrate MP4)
• Separate social-media-friendly cut-downs (60 s and 15 s)
• Two rounds of revisions based on time-coded notes
• All project files and assets organised and returned

Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve are all fine as long as you can share open, well-labelled timelines. Turnaround is flexible but an initial rough cut within three weeks would be ideal so we can refine the piece together and lock picture soon after.

If this resonates with your storytelling sensibilities and you enjoy crafting inspirational narratives, let’s bring this film to life.
