Humorous Vlog Video Editor
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I film light-hearted vlogs for my YouTube channel and now need an editor who can turn the raw footage into a punchy, laugh-inducing final cut that keeps viewers glued from start to finish. The pacing should feel lively and fun rather than frantic, with comedic timing that lands every joke or reaction shot just right.
To make that happen, I rely on three effect types in almost every episode:
• Text overlays and annotations for quick jokes, context, or call-outs
• Sound effects that heighten comic moments without drowning the dialogue
• Clean, eye-catching transitions and animations to keep the flow smooth
Expect anywhere from 8–12 minutes of footage per vlog, recorded in 4K but delivered in 1080p. I use Premiere Pro myself for rough cuts, so if you work in the same environment that’s ideal, though Final Cut or DaVinci Resolve are fine as long as the exported project matches YouTube standards (H.264, 30 fps, high bitrate).
When you deliver, I’d like:
1. The final edited video ready to upload.
2. The project file with all assets properly linked so I can tweak if needed.
3. A quick list of any third-party plugins or fonts you used.
If you’re comfortable bringing humor to life through clever edits and crisp visuals, let’s talk and start with the next vlog on my queue.
