Horror-Thriller Explainer Video Editor
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I’m launching a YouTube channel that breaks down horror and thriller films scene-by-scene, turning complex plots into gripping, easy-to-follow stories. To make each upload stand out, I need a skilled video editor who can weave atmosphere, tension, and clarity into every cut.
Rather than sticking strictly to the usual fast-paced, cinematic, or minimalistic templates, I’m after a hybrid style that responds to the mood of each movie—slow burns where suspense demands it, jump-cuts when the terror peaks, and everything in between. I’m equally open to creative touches that go beyond the standard text overlays, sound effects, and transitions; if an animated diagram, stylised graphic, or eerie ambience track heightens the story, let’s try it.
Each finished piece will run 10–20 minutes. I’ll supply the voice-over, time-stamped script, and a folder of fair-use movie clips; you handle the rest:
• Assemble a cohesive narrative edit with smooth pacing
• Add mood-setting audio beds, precise SFX, and tasteful graphics or animations where they genuinely serve the explanation
• Grade footage so colours match and atmosphere feels consistent
• Polish dialogue, balance levels, and remove background noise
• Export a clean 1080p (or higher) master plus the editable project file
I work in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, so sharing projects in that ecosystem (or DaVinci Resolve if preferred) keeps feedback simple. One round of revisions is built in, though I rarely need more when the brief’s met.
If you love dissecting movies, thrive on creative freedom, and can hit a reliable weekly rhythm, I’d love to see a sample of your previous storytelling edits—especially anything in the horror or thriller space.
