Historical Documentary Video Editing

Job ID: 40106341

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I’m producing an English-language history documentary and need a meticulous video editor who can carry the story through images alone. All that’s required is a polished sequence of still photographs or archival clips that align perfectly with each fact in the script; the right image for the right moment is paramount.

Only minimalist text overlays should appear—simple lower-thirds, concise captions, and the occasional date stamp. Keep fonts clean, colours neutral, and animations unobtrusive. No narration, background music, or extra audio work is needed; I already have the soundtrack locked.

Deliverables
• Fully edited 1080p (or higher) video ready for upload
• Project file in your preferred NLE (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve)
• Organised media folders so everything re-links without hassle

Acceptance criteria
• Every visual accurately reflects the corresponding spoken content
• Text overlays follow the agreed minimalist style and contain zero typos
• No black frames, abrupt cuts, or aspect-ratio issues

If this aligns with your skills, drop me a brief note about your workflow and a sample of similar historical work. I’m eager to see how you can bring these stories to life through precise, image-based editing.
