Hawaii Travel Vlog Editing
Budget: $30 – $250 CAD
I shot a bunch of short clips during my recent Hawaii trip and now I’d like them turned into a single 20-25 minute vlog that I can publish on my new YouTube channel. The finished piece should feel both informative and entertaining, pairing crisp visuals with a subtle dose of storytelling so viewers always know where we are and what’s going on even though I never spoke to camera.
Here’s the shape of the project:
• Stitch all the raw clips into a smooth narrative flow.
• Layer in royalty-free traditional Hawaiian music that fits the different scenes without overpowering natural ambience.
• Use creative transition effects (not just basic fades) to keep the pace lively while still respecting the laid-back island vibe.
• Add on-screen English subtitles or lower-third captions describing each location, activity and fun fact—clear, readable and timed accurately.
• Perform basic color correction, audio balancing and light stabilization where needed so everything looks and sounds consistent.
Deliverables:
1. Final 1080p (or better) video, 20-25 minutes, ready for direct upload to YouTube.
2. Separate .srt (or equivalent) subtitle file synced to the video.
3. Project file or edit decision list in case I’d like tweaks later.
Send me a quick note describing your preferred editing software and a link to at least one travel video you’ve cut that shows similar pacing or creative transitions. I’ll share the download link to my footage so you can get started right away.
