Gaming Let’s Play Video Editor

Job ID: 40051025

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I record regular Let’s Play sessions and now need a skilled editor who knows how to keep the pace energetic and the commentary front-and-center. The raw captures come in 1080p, 60 fps with separate audio tracks for game and mic. Your task is to turn each session into a tight, entertaining episode that feels right at home among popular gaming channels.

The style is unmistakably gaming: punchy cuts, comedic timing, and on-screen reactions that highlight key moments. I rely on text overlays for call-outs, memes, and quick tips, so please be comfortable designing those in a way that matches the game’s aesthetic. Strategic sound effects—hits, cheers, record scratches—are another must to amplify big wins and amusing fails without drowning out commentary.

Here’s how I picture our workflow:
• I upload the footage to Google Drive along with timestamps for notable moments.
• You trim dead air, sync audio, drop in text overlays, sprinkle in sound effects, and add light color correction so everything looks consistent.
• Final delivery: 10–15 minute MP4 (H.264), thumbnail-ready still image, and the editable project file (Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve preferred—let me know which you use).

If you have samples of previous Let’s Play edits, especially ones that show creative text and sound work, I’d love to see them. Let’s make these episodes binge-worthy!
