Full-time Editor Ongoing YouTube & Social Video Editing
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I run an educational channel that releases long-form YouTube videos and then spins those moments into bite-sized content for Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. Every week I drop raw footage on a shared drive and need someone who can take it from blank timeline to fully polished deliverables—pacing tightened, color balanced, audio cleaned, lower thirds designed, and captions burned in for mobile viewers.
You’ll edit the main YouTube episode first (usually 10–20 minutes), then carve out the most engaging highlights into vertical clips formatted natively for Reels, TikTok, and Facebook. I store everything in a well-organized folder structure and prefer Premiere Pro, but if you’re faster in Final Cut or DaVinci Resolve that’s fine as long as the export specs stay consistent.
Turnaround is five days per batch and communication happens in Slack with revisions tracked in Frame.io. If you’re comfortable managing multiple projects at once, adding light motion graphics, and keeping a consistent educational tone that feels clear and approachable, let’s get started—my goal is to hand off footage and trust that it will come back ready to publish.
