Fort Worth Event Highlight Reel

Project Type: On-site event coverage + post-event social media reel
Location: Fort Worth, TX (in-person required)
Date & Time: December 5 (approx. 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM; final timing will be confirmed)
Deliverable: One 30-second highlight reel (vertical)

About the Project

We are looking for a skilled freelance videographer/content creator to cover an in-person event in Fort Worth. You’ll capture live action, interviews, and B-roll throughout the event, then edit the footage into a polished 30-second social media reel using CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar short-form-video software.

This is a great fit for someone who regularly creates Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, and event-based promotional content.

Responsibilities
Attend the event in Fort Worth on December 5
Capture a mix of:
Candid/live action
Short interviews with attendees/participants
General B-roll (venue, crowd, signage, activities)
Ensure clean audio for interview clips
Shoot in vertical format when appropriate (we can discuss preferences)
After the event, edit footage into:
One 30-second highlight reel suitable for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and Facebook
Provide final deliverable within 3-4 hours of the event
Deliver all raw footage to us (Google Drive or similar)

Requirements
Must be local to DFW (we will not pay travel expenses)
Experience filming live events
Ability to direct brief, natural interviews
Strong understanding of short-form social video trends
Proficiency with CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or similar tools
Access to your own equipment (camera, lenses, audio, stabilizer preferred)
Portfolio with examples of event content and/or social-media-style edits

Nice to Have
Experience capturing high-quality audio during interviews
Ability to turn around additional clips if needed (optional add-on)
