Fix You Kinetic Lyric Video
Budget: €6 – €12 EUR
I’m putting together a short audiovisual piece that turns Coldplay’s “Fix You” into a moving canvas of sound, image, and—most importantly—animated type. The song will drive everything: pacing, intensity, and emotion. I’m after a kinetic typography treatment that breathes with the track, swells when the music lifts, and holds back when it hushes. Edited footage and subtle sound design can support the feeling, but the words on-screen should carry the emotional weight.
The cut will run somewhere between 50 seconds and 2 minutes. You can assemble in Adobe Premiere (my current workflow), then deliver a final export as a .mov (H.264, 1080p, 25 fps). If you build auxiliary motion in After Effects, just make sure it nests cleanly back into the Premiere timeline.
Deliverables
• Final video file (.mov, H.264, 1080p/25 fps)
• The complete Premiere project with all linked assets and typography treatments intact
I’ll sign off when the text movement feels synced to the song’s emotional arc, transitions land on beat, and the overall mood matches the tender lift-and-release that “Fix You” is known for.
