Fast-Paced Kids Wake Episode Edit
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I have a folder of raw GoPro clips from a day on the lake: my boys riding an inflatable rocket behind our Malibu Wakesetter, laughing their heads off, wiping out, then swapping jokes the moment they’re back on the swim deck. The goal is a 5–10 minute YouTube episode for our “McPherson Boys” channel that captures that energy in a quick-cut, high-tempo style.
Editing direction
• Keep the pacing brisk with plenty of jump-cuts that mirror the speed of the ride.
• Spotlight every burst of laughter, the bigger splashes from their more ambitious tricks, and the funny post-crash banter.
• Lay in a fun, playful music bed that never overpowers the dialogue; drop the volume whenever a great laugh or quote hits.
• Stabilise shaky sections, colour-match the multiple GoPro angles, and add simple titles or sound effects only when they amplify the fun.
Deliverables
1. Final 5–10 min video, YouTube-ready (H.264, 1080p or higher, 16:9).
I’ll supply the footage via a cloud link and can timestamp any “must-use” clips. Once I receive the first draft, I’ll give a single round of consolidated notes, then we lock picture. If that sounds clear, let’s turn these lake-day laughs into a tight, share-worthy episode.
