Experimental Social Media Reels Editor
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I need a nimble video editor who can take raw clips and transform them into scroll-stopping reels for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and similar platforms. The formats are short—anywhere from 5 seconds up to about 5 minutes—but I want each piece to feel fresh, creative and a little experimental. Think unexpected cuts, playful motion graphics, kinetic typography and transitions that make viewers watch twice.
Audio is just as important. Most reels will feature voice-overs or direct-to-camera commentary, so I’ll rely on you to balance dialogue cleanly, remove background noise, add subtle sound design, and drop in music only when it complements the narration.
Turnaround is urgent: once I share footage, I’m looking for the first draft within 24–48 hours and quick revisions right after. Consistency matters, so please be comfortable working from style references yet pushing boundaries when the concept calls for it.
Deliverables
• Final edits in vertical 1080 × 1920 MP4 (and a source project file)
• Captions burned in and as an .srt file
• Color-graded, audio-mixed, export-ready for immediate upload
