Enhance 1986 Wedding Video
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I recently had my 1986 wedding VHS transferred into two MP4 files. The footage is precious but it looks dark, slightly washed-out and the camera movements feel abrupt. I’d like a skilled video editor to breathe new life into it.
Here’s what I need:
• Color work that brightens the image—think tasteful exposure lift and gentle balance so the original tones feel natural, not over-saturated.
• Stabilisation geared toward smooth transitions; I want pans and zooms to flow without introducing that jelly-like warp some plug-ins create.
• Simple cleanup: cut the blank or static sections and seamlessly join the two source files into a single, uninterrupted MP4. No additional audio work is required.
Please work in whatever platform you prefer—DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, etc.—as long as the final deliverable is a high-quality H.264 MP4 ready for sharing with family and archiving for years to come. A quick preview link halfway through the process would help me confirm the look before you render the master file.
