We are looking for a video editor who can efficiently extract specific shots from long YouTube videos based on provided timestamps.
You will receive YouTube video links together with a list of timestamps, including start seconds and end seconds for the requested shots. Your task is to download or access the videos, identify the correct scenes, and export the requested clips separately.
Important: the timestamps we provide are sometimes not perfectly exact. This means the actual shot may start slightly before or after the indicated second. You must therefore visually identify the correct scene and extract the closest matching shot. The goal is to capture the correct visual moment, not simply cut exact timestamps blindly.
Example:
Requested timestamp:
Start: 01:24
End: 01:31
But the actual shot may begin at 01:23.5 or 01:25. You should use your judgment to find and export the correct shot.
Responsibilities:
• Rip/download large YouTube videos
• Navigate long-form content efficiently
• Extract and export specific scenes/shots
• Maintain high export quality
• Organize clips correctly in folders
• Name files properly
• Follow instructions accurately
In total there are 10 you tube videos and 90 shots to be taken out
Requirements:
• Experience with video editing software
• Fast and organized workflow
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to process large amounts of footage efficiently
