I have a raw collection of clips for a short (sub-5-minute) entertainment piece and need an editor who can turn it into a tight, engaging watch. The core work revolves around trimming and merging the footage, applying clean, simple transitions, and weaving in text overlays, a few tasteful visual effects, and the occasional slow-motion beat where it helps the story land.
Colour needs a light pass to balance shots and add a bit of polish, while the audio track should be cleaned so voices remain clear and any background noise stays subtle. I cut on Adobe Premiere Pro myself, so I’d like you to stay in the Adobe ecosystem—Premiere Pro for the primary edit, After Effects if you need extra punch.
Pacing is everything on this clip: I’m after a smooth rhythm that keeps viewers watching to the end. Quick, clear communication is important; I reply fast and expect the same so we can lock any notes in real time.
Deliverables:
• Final video in 1080p (or higher, matching source) ready for upload
• Premiere Pro project file and linked media organised in folders
• Separate audio mix if you process sound outside the timeline
