I’m producing regular video content that shares practical business-related growth tips in a mentor-style format for both YouTube and Instagram. Each YouTube piece runs between three and seven minutes, and from each session I also need a punchy 60-second vertical reel for Instagram.
The tone throughout should stay informative and professional—clean cuts, on-brand lower thirds, light motion graphics where it helps the viewer absorb key points, and tasteful background music mixed properly under the voice track. I record in 1080p (sometimes 4K) and supply talking-head footage, screen captures, a rough outline, and brand assets.
Your role is to:
• Edit the long-form video (colour correction, sound balancing, basic clean-ups, jump-cut trimming, simple animations for stats or key phrases).
• Craft the accompanying reel, optimised for vertical, with engaging hooks, captions, and quick pacing.
• Deliver ready-to-upload files: 16:9 MP4 for YouTube, 9:16 MP4 for Instagram Reels, plus thumbnail suggestions.
I usually batch-record, so consistency across episodes is important—matching fonts, colours, and overall polish. Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve are all fine as long as the output is sharp and reliably on schedule.
