Project Overview:
I record talking-head videos on a green screen and will provide raw footage. I post daily on YouTube and Instagram, so I need an editor on a monthly retainer who can handle a fast, consistent delivery pipeline.
1) Core Responsibilities (Non-negotiable)
Professional green screen removal (chroma key)
Clean edges (hair/shoulders), no jagged cutouts
Spill suppression (no green halo/outline)
Dynamic backgrounds that change according to my speech
Background/B-roll must change based on the spoken content (key sentences / timestamps)
No random backgrounds; visuals must be contextually relevant
Visual sourcing must be copyright-safe
Use AI-generated images/videos OR licensed/copyright-safe stock platforms
Do NOT use movie clips/news clips/copyrighted footage unless I explicitly approve
Maintain a consistent style within each video
Compositing realism + color match
Match lighting/contrast so I don’t look pasted
Keep background slightly softer so focus stays on me
2) Deliverables (Daily Posting)
Every day I will post on both platforms.
You must deliver:
A) Instagram Reels + YouTube Shorts (9:16)
1080x1920 (or 4K vertical if source supports)
Typical length: 30–90s
High bitrate export
B) YouTube (16:9)
1920x1080 (or 4K if source supports)
Long-form length: ___ minutes (fill this)
High bitrate export
Optional but preferred (mention if included):
Captions/subtitles (clean, brand-consistent)
Sound design (voice cleanup + subtle ambience/music)
3) Workflow & Speed
I send: raw clip + script/topic (or bullet points)
You send: first cut
Revisions: max 1–2 rounds per video
Turnaround: Shorts 24–48h | Long video 3–5 days
Must be able to manage a daily content pipeline (batching allowed as long as delivery is consistent)
