Dramatic Shorts Video Editing

I shoot fast-paced entertainment clips that need to be cut down into punchy, vertical shorts for YouTube, Instagram Reels, and Facebook. Every piece has to feel cinematic and dramatic, so I’m looking for an editor who can weave in well-timed special effects, impactful sound design, and color work that heightens the mood without feeling over-processed.

You will receive raw footage along with a rough idea of the storyline. Your job is to shape it into 15–60-second edits, optimise framing for 9:16, layer in the effects, adjust pacing to hold attention from the first second, and deliver clean masters ready for upload. If you naturally drop in slick transitions or quick text call-outs where they help the story, even better, but the non-negotiable is the dramatic special-effects treatment.

Deliverables
• 3 finished shorts per batch (MP4, 1080 × 1920)
• Project files (Premiere Pro or Final Cut + After Effects, as used)
• One revision cycle per short for tweaks on timing, effects, or colour
