Documentary-Style Vlog Editing
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I film regular vlogs for both my YouTube channel (16:9) and my Instagram Reels/Stories (9:16). What I need is an editor who can weave the raw clips into a short-form, documentary-style story rather than a quick-cut montage. Natural pacing, logical narrative flow and subtle but purposeful transitions are key.
The edit should feel cinematic yet personal: think light music beds that complement the voice-over, location ambience left in where it adds texture, and smooth transitions and effects that move the story forward without looking gimmicky. If you have ideas for additional polish—text callouts, light grading tweaks, or motion graphics intros—I’m open to hearing them, but the non-negotiable is well-placed transitions and effects that serve the narrative.
Deliverables for each vlog
• Final 16:9 master for YouTube, exported in 4K / 25 fps (H.264)
• Reformatted 9:16 cut for Instagram, matching platform time limits
• Project file (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, or your editor of choice) with all media relinked
I’ll supply organised footage, a rough shot list, and music licensed through Artlist. Typical raw length is 15-20 minutes; final edits land around 6-8 minutes for YouTube and ≤60 seconds for Instagram. Turnaround is one video per week.
