I run a medical practice that shares concise, evidence-based tips and advice on Instagram and TikTok. I need a reliable video editor who can take raw footage of me speaking to camera and turn it into polished 30-60 second reels that feel professional and formal while still holding viewers’ attention.
Here’s what the workflow usually looks like: I’ll supply a short clip (shot in vertical 9:16, 1080p or 4K) along with a rough script outline. Your task is to trim any pauses, add clean transitions, include on-brand lower-thirds for key medical terms, discreet captions for accessibility, light background music that doesn’t overpower my voice, and ensure colour consistency across all reels. Whenever statistics or studies are referenced, an onscreen text call-out with the citation is needed.
Deliverable for each reel
• Final 9:16 MP4, ready to upload (30-60 s)
• Separate SRT file for captions
• One thumbnail image pulled from the edit with an overlaid title
Acceptance criteria
• Audio is balanced and free of hiss or pops
• Captions are 99 % accurate and timed correctly
• Branding colours (HEX codes provided) are applied precisely
• No jump cuts that feel jarring; flow remains professional
I typically record two to three reels per week, so I’m looking for someone available on an ongoing basis with a 48-hour turnaround.
