Creative YouTube Vlog Editor
Budget: $10 – $30 CAD
I shoot casual-yet-cinematic vlogs and now need an editor who can give each episode a playful, creative rhythm. Expect to work with multi-camera footage (1080p and occasional 4K), a healthy mix of talking-head segments and on-the-go B-roll, and plenty of ambient location audio.
The style I’m after is lively with bold transitions and tasteful visual flourishes, but not at the expense of narrative flow. Think quick cuts when the energy spikes, smoother pacing during storytelling moments, and well-timed sound effects that add punch without becoming gimmicky. If you also enjoy sprinkling in text overlays or animated transitions, let’s experiment—though spot-on SFX are the current priority.
Typical raw package:
• 15-25 minutes of footage per vlog
• Separate music stems I’ve licensed
• Reference timestamps for key beats
I’d like you to:
• Trim, assemble, colour-correct and stabilise as needed
• Blend music under dialogue, level audio and enhance clarity
• Layer in creative transitions and signature sound effects
• Deliver a polished 8-12 minute final cut in 16:9, ready for YouTube upload, plus one vertical teaser (≤60 sec) for Shorts/Instagram Reels.
