Corporate Industry Ambassador video editing project

Job ID: 31174446

Budget: $250 – $750 AUD

This should be an easy task for someone who knows what they are doing.

OBJECTIVE:
We are looking for a creative, forward-thinking video editor for various corporate projects we have in the works. We want someone who will get the work done, but also make the video feel great to watch.

JOB SPECS:
This content will be used to promote the GLLEN Young Industry Ambassadors and as educational tools that show students what different workplaces look like and the many varied job roles and career pathways they could take.

You must work using the Adobe Suite, especially After Effects and Premiere. I will have final decision on the video’s final edit but your creative input is REQUIRED. I am relying on you to use your best judgment to create an amazing video. We are not supplying time codes for you to use when cutting footage.

INPUTS PROVIDED:
For the video, we will provide the footage, a rough script/list of important messaging we need in the video, graphics and the music.

You will need a very high-speed internet to download the video files from a Google Drive link (around 250-500GB worth of video files) in time for our deadline.

OUTPUTS REQUIRED:
Deliverables:
1 x 90-second Young Industry Ambassador Profile video that captivate and excite students/schools.
We would like the first 90-second video to be edited in this sort of style: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nanMasIrPV0
1x 5-minute cut of a Workplace Tour video that link directly to learning outcomes. We are still working out what this type of video looks like, but we will provide references to guide the editing process.

We will require 3 separate sequences in your project for each video.
A selects sequence of all A-Roll (talking heads), with the best bits raised to a higher track before an assembly edit has been created. Ideally it’d be great if you could use Premiere’s text-to-speech function before editing each speaker so we have a rough transcript of each too.
A selects sequence of all B-Roll (overlay footage), with the best bits raised to a higher track before an assembly edit has been created.
An assembly sequence of your first edit. We like to keep each version of the edit as a new sequence so we can refer back to a previous version.

Being the first job working with you, we will be paying for this project in 2 milestones.
Milestone 1: Delivery of a Version 1 HD mp4 file and premiere working project file.
Milestone 2: Delivery of final mp4 file and premiere project file (with any other assets if needed) after feedback on the first cut.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Requirements
- Rendered sample(s) of the video cut will need to be provided
- Must be done in Premiere Pro CC 2021
- Please keep the project file organised and tidy. I will be providing an example Premiere File Structure for you to follow.
