Cooking Content Video Editor Needed
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I film high-resolution recipe videos and now need someone who can transform that raw footage into eye-catching edits with a fast pace and plenty of snappy cuts. For TikTok and Instagram Reels I want vertical clips that stay under a minute, while YouTube will get a longer, narrative-friendly version of the same recipe—usually anywhere from six to ten minutes—so you’ll need to be comfortable working in both short and long form.
Every edit must include:
• Text overlays that call out ingredients, timers, and tips
• Royalty-free background music that matches an upbeat kitchen vibe
• Voice-over tracks (I’ll supply the audio) synced cleanly to the visuals
Good color correction is crucial to keep the food looking mouth-watering, and a few tasteful sound effects to accent knife cuts or sizzling pans are welcome. I shoot in 4K on a Sony mirrorless and can share ProRes or H.264 files via Google Drive. Familiarity with Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve—and proper export settings for 9:16, 1:1, and 16:9 formats—is a must.
Typical deliverables per recipe:
• One vertical reel (<60 s) for Instagram/TikTok
• One horizontal YouTube edit (6–10 min) with intro/outro
• A matching thumbnail still (nice bonus)
